In version 3, select any lyric. Look at the inspector (F8), change the font and press the S to the right of what you changed. You may need to scroll to see the S.

I'm writing for SATB, selected a lyric in the Soprano part, followed your instructions, the font size changed in the ATB parts but not in the Soprano. What am I doing wrong?

I would need to see the score. It's probably something simple I overlooked, but it helps if I can see what it is I missed.

Just tried again by selecting lyric in Bass part and again following your instructions AND IT WORKED in all 4 parts. Thanks again Mike

I spoke too soon. When I look at the next page, same thing - ATB parts are edited but S part still 11pt font.
To 'select' do I just click or double click? On the first word of the lyric?

It should work with a single click on any lyric. Double click should disable the inspector.

I tried again by undoing changes and starting from scratch. Same result - ATB parts all change from 11pt to 14pt but Soprano part stays on 11pt. BUT when I click on a word in Soprano part it says it's in 14pt in Inspector.

If you don't want to attach the entire score, then trim it down (delete extra measures) and use Save as... to make an excerpt so we can look at it. You may have found a know bug, but I would need to see the problem to be sure.

Thanks Mike and Marc, I've solved the problem the hard way, by editing the lyrics word by word. So I'll never know what I did wrong in the first place. I guess I'll find out when I need to edit more lyrics. Incidentally, how do I go about attaching a score?

You should never have to edit lyrics word by word. You should be able to right click a lyric and choose Select all similar items and change all of them in the inspector at once. I didn't mention this earlier, because setting the style (clicking the S) should work and I was more concerned with understanding what was happening.

In general, you'll almost always get better help faster if you attach your score, then we don't have to guess. That said, if I had to guess, my guess is you already force some of the individual lyrics a different size from the style default and that's why they don't update when you change the style.

There is a button visible when your create a post, titled "Choose a file". Use that button to browse to and select your score file.
