Getting voices to share noteheads
Is there a way to make two different voices (different values) share a notehead, as in the screenshot dottednote that I attached below? Notice how the bass voice is a dotted quarter and the tenor an eighth. MuseScore wants to give them separate notes, as in dottednote1. (The first shot comes from a book and the second from my MuseScore 3.0.5 document.) The dotted quarter is voice 2 and the eighth notes voice 1 in the bass clef.

My apologies, uploaded a wrong screenshot by accident. Now fixed.

Thank you! I followed your tip to use the Inspector. I moved the notehead, the stem, and the dot manually by using a negative X offset -- it worked but was tricky to get lined up perfectly. Then I looked at the file you posted. Clicking on the notes in question does not show any offset. Is there another, perhaps easier, way?

No offset, change notehead

Ah, works beautifully and much easier!
