Please attach the score too.
Here it is.
OK, so this is happening with all style setting being at default.
Didn't happen in MuseScore 2.
Workaround: use spacers
Maybe by design of the new autoplace and skyline algorithm
There are no actual collisions, but the skyline algorithm is indeed being too clever, allowing chord symbols to slot between the lyrics. I know there was discussion of this earlier, but I don't see an open issue, maybe it was forum only.
It's a tough call, because at some level, it's good that we don't force extra space for one lyric at the beginning of a system and one chord symbol at the end of the next (or vice versa). Only in cases where the chord symbol really interferes with the reading of the lyric is it a problem. But figuring out which case is which could be tricky.
Well, the lyrics dash ("my-self") and the D7 chord symbol (in measure 15) are colliding, at least way too close to one another. Similar for the "here," and the G, but not quite as bad
It's a separate known issue that there is no collision detection for lyrics lines.
