Leaving a space between Bars to coda
Hi
Two things really, the first is on the original music there is a space between the end bar and the coda bars. Is it possible to achieve this?
Secondly the particular song I'm transcribing has two verses, the second verse lyrics have extra notes in the bar. The bar in question has a rest first time through, then second time there is a dotted crotchet but if I try to add the crotchet I can't do it without "cutting" the rest.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards
Brian

Insert a horizontal frame: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/frames#horizontal
For the 2nd verse, add the notes in another voice (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices) and possible also select them and use the inspector to mark them (chord section) small and disable playback.

Hi
Thanks for this. All done!

To make the space, select the first measure of the coda and insert a horizontal frame from either the palette or the menu Add->Frames.
To put a rest for one verse and note for another, used voices. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices
