Accessibility Feature - Page Colour
Been using MuseScore for a few years now and only have one major issue - as a migraine sufferer, I can't use it for very long because of the white page, even with my laptop's brightness way down. Would it be possible to add a mode similar to Windows' High Contrast setting or give the option to change page colour? Might also be useful for people who need a coloured overlay or struggle with black text on a white background for other sensory reasons.

You can change the canvas (paper color) in Edit->Preferences->Canvas.

Yes, this might be helpful. Maybe there could exist the option to set the shown notecolor (or at least show the notes white (inverted))

Note colors can be completely controlled using edit->Properties in the Advanced tab.

Really? I actually can't find the setting for unselected Note color in the dark theme (which is undoubtedly the right theme for the o.p.)

Wow, it seems you can change all of the colors in preferences except the default displayed note color. It seems there is no way to set the default color to anything but black. I don't see this as a terrible limitation since you can change the background color to a tan and the black notes will still stand out. The glare will no longer be there from the white paper. There is bound to be some color you can choose for the paper that will be acceptable with black notes.

I'm using this yellowish brown shade.
I can say that my eyes never get tired.
Note: It is not a good idea to use glossy white for notes. This causes a situation called the Halo effect. (White light, stimulates all color-cells in the eye. After a while (when you move your eyes) you can see some flying imaginary transparent notes)

Thanks for posting these settings. I've set my paper to the same and it's so much easier on the eye.
You can also download an app like f.lux that will gradually change the color of your screen to cancel out blue light based on how bright it is outside.
I have some problems that may not be an issue for others.
First I run my monitor in portrait orientation at 175% zoom. I am monocular with multiple issues visually and cognitively.
When I review the Advanced Setup page I need to slide it back and forth to see respective the left and right sides. The attributes list fonts are very small and hard to read despite the high zoom.
Are these attributes all available in a text format somewhere so I can cut and paste the lot study?
The scores are okay on the screen with the default settings although larger fonts would be a plus most times. The zoom for the score helps a lot. If I could zoom the surrounding areas that would be very helpful.
I have three immediate needs. Maybe someone could direct me to the attributes I need to solve the following challenges.
One is changing the background and buttons fonts etc to higher contrast black and white rather then shades of gray.
Bigger fonts in the header and left column etc.
Getting higher contrast paper prints with bigger fonts if changing the fonts in the score writer do not carry to paper.

Having some control over the attributes font would help a great deal with the settings. And Just having the ability to bring the attribute and setting columns closer together would help a lot. Same for the line spacing.
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

Try Edit > Preferences > General > Dark theme, on next Tab, Canvas, you can set font size.
In Format > Style > Text styles you can alter the size of the fonts used in the score
