Paste double and Paste Half
I was under the impression that in 3.1 these commands were supposed to be included in the menu and have predefined shortcuts. The actions exist but are not currently in any menu or defined as shortcuts. Does this need an issue opened?

They are available, in the Edit menu. no shortcuts assigned though, and I guess on purpose.

I think you are seeing the menu items in a self build, it's not in the release unless I'm totally blind.

Nope, I see it in the official 3.1 Beta, in the Edit menu (and translated into German too)

This is obviously a part of an anti-american conspiracy...Just kidding.
Curious... I made the video to prove I'm using the official 3.1-beta release and the menu items are not there. I would say it might be because I have 3.0.5 and 3.1-beta both installed and sharing resources, but I think you are doing the same thing.

Yes, I too have both installed. But maybe it is because I updated translations for 3.1 Beta?
Nah, doesn't really make sense...

Without being an American ;-), it's available and visible inside the menu too by using the AppImage. I didn't update any translations. But I've installed the beta a couple of days after the announcement. Any difference if you switch the workspace or after reset to factory settings?

I refuse to reset factory settings unless the program becomes unusable so hopefully I'll never know the answer to that question. The answer to the mystery is that I was using an existing custom workspace and it didn't update when I upgraded to 3.1-beta. Since there is no way to add menu items to a workspace, this seems to me to be a bug.

But at least what I see (indeed a mystery - or maybe a bug (?)):

No, it happened because I created the custom workspace, then updated MuseScore to 3.1-beta. When I did that, the menus didn't update.

I can't reproduce it by creating a custom workspace inside the stable release and after that starting 3.1 beta (and using this new created workspace - but indeed, the beta is already used before for me) - maybe someone other will find a reason.

Workspaces can either contain menu definitions or not. The default is normally not. Unless you explicitly check the "Menus" box when defining the workspace, it should just refer to the global default menus. That's the theory, anyhow.

That helped with the problem actually. I opened edit the workspace, unchecked Menu option, clicked OK and restarted MuseScore and the menu is fixed.
