Shortcut to place cursor in palette search bar?
Hi, is there any chance of implementing this in the future? To me it seems it would be really useful, it would be nice if there was also a way to delete text from an old search with a shortcut.

There was work done on this and other aspects of keyboard access to the palette a couple of years ago but unfortunately never finished. It's still on the roadmap though; accessibility and usability in general are high priorities.
It's possible to define a shortcut in edit->preferences...->shortcuts for "palette search".
