I just updated MuseScore to the latest version, and everything in the menus is way too large. Is there a way to reduce the size?

The menus only, everything else is normal ? I'm not sure how that could happen. If it's also the palettes, and your score, and everything else, this suggests that somehow MuseScore couldn't detect your monitor resolution correctly, and you can fix it by using the command line option "-D nnn", where nnn is the resolution of your monitor in DPI. Otherwise, you can try the font settings in Edit / Preferences.
If that doesn't help, please attach a screenshot so we can understand and assist better.
