Bug: Musejazz does not render properly in pdf
In the rendered pdf, the beams of 16th notes are a solid thick line instead of two in some measures, not all--it's inconsistent.

Can you upload the Musescore file please?
Are the staves by any chance set to small? There were known issues with this prior to 3.1, but they also affected on-screen display. I can't reproducible any problem using 3.1. Can you attach your score?
I see the repeat bars are also badly sized. Come to think of it, though, neither of these are actually dependent on the font used - they are drawn as plain lines. So in theory, you should see the same results regardless of font.
Right now, I'm sort of kind of guessing your staves are set to small, and the PDF was actually generated in 3.0.5 and maybe your 3.1 version got saved somewhere else...

It was all done in 3.1. The page scaling is set at 1.450mm. Using the default font FreeSerif also has a similar look in pdf with the beams too close together. I think it is has to do with how the smaller scaling is being renderized to pdf.

adjust the beam distance:

Thanks or the screen shot. That's what I ended up doing. It appears that converting into pdf thickens all the lines, including the bar lines.

As I note below, it ended up being an Adobe Reader bug, not Musescore.

I can't reproduce using my own build of 3.1 and your score. Can you attach your actual PDF? Are you generating it with File / Export, or a third party PDF printer?
It t seems your score has less distance than usual between beams - only 33% of the beam thickness rather than the norm of 50%. So both on screen and in the PDF, there is less space between beams than would be recommended. But it is scaled correctly in both 3.0.5 and 3.1 for me. Looks like MuseJazz specifically has set the beam distance to 33% thus deliberately moving them closer to together, not sure why.

I changed it to 33% when I decreased the beam thickness. Changing it back to 50% does prevent the beams from completely merging. Still, the beam and barline thickness are greater in the pdf.

After all that, it appears to be an issue with Adobe Reader (v. 2019.010) not Musescore. In the browser, the same pdf looks normal.
