Slow start to play a piece of music
I have a problem which is that when I open a file and press play, it takes about 30 seconds for the music to start playing. How may I remedy this? Thank you.

When you first open musescore it has to unpack sound font files, so there is a delay there. If MuseScore has been opened a while and you are not changing soundfonts then there is something else happening.
If you're uging MDL, a 30 seconds deley is very short. If you're using the default spoundfont it is a tad long.
If you change to an SF2 soundfont, there won't be any delay.
