MuseSCORE 3.0 has serious problems in transposing instruments
I have witnessed serious transposition problems while writing for wind quintet. Also the ranges of clarinet and F horn appear to be indicated in absolute pitch. There is a strange difference between : 1-I created the wind quintet one by one 2-I created the wind quintet from the menu
It seems the menu creates absolute pitch score but indicates Bflat and FHorn at the staff header.
Sorry, I am too tired fixing the problems, I know this is not an accurate bug descriiption. But I am sure
there is a problem.

And I'm pretty sure there is not, more likely a misunderstanding how things work. Please attach sample scores and exactly steps to reproduce, what you do, what you expect to happen and what happens instead

Indeed the most likely case here
For my transcriptions and compositions, especially for small ensembles or large, I input and create in Concert Pitch. The button highlighted. Then un-highlight it for printing. Normally you have to check for proper range and key, etc of the transposed instruments. This applies to all notation software.

Thank you for reminding me the CONCERT PITCH BUTTON. I have written more than 6 hours of music including a Symphony and 3-4 Cantatas and many instrumental group works. I have never used the Concert Pitch Button. I always write transpositions from my mind.
My confusion began when I used the ver 3.0 builtin Wind Quintet which uses directly Concert Pitch Button.
The problem is: When you set up the COnCERT PITCH option on or off, the instrument ranges does not change. As I had not noticed CONCERT PITCH option as on, I got confused.
I believe, the default settings for instrument groups should be provided with the CONCERT PITCH option off.
I noticed a couple of more discrepancies but I believe they are all related to this subject.
For the record, I am a great fan of MuseSCORE and I appreciate her contribution to my composition works enormously.

I'm not sure what you mean about instrument ranges. They are always expressed in concert pitch, so they aren't supposed to change based on the concert pitch button. The idea is, a note that is out of range is out of range regardless of whether you are viewing your score in concert pitch or not. It would be very bad if every time you flipped that buttons notes flipped between black and red.

Instrument ranges for Advanced to Beginning for instruments. Sometimes, like on Bass Clarinet, the arranger assumes the player has C extension, when in fact they only have low Eb not D.

The point is that the concert pitch button will not affect the color of the notes as defined in the instrument's staff properties. If the C is olive colored on the score with concert pitch turned off, then the Bb will be olive color with it turned on. Also, when you open the staff properties in both cases, the ranges will show the transposed pitches. MuseScore has several instances of woodwind and stringed instruments that use professional range to indicate some instruments may have the capability of playing lower than other instruments like the Bari sax and Contrabass.

This was very useful. I tried it and you are right. Apparently I was confused by the automatic use of concert pitch choice and I tried to understand things according to notated pitch. The instrument headers were still indicating Bflat clarinet. But I should have noticed that the key of double sharps was removed. I think, changing the 'concert pitch' label to something else when it is notated pitch would have helped.

I have been able to reproduce the problem. It seems that it appears when saving with the score in absolute pitch and the parts transposed.
Here is a file with a piano and a soprano sax. (b flat) When i reopened the document, the sax part was in absolute pitch while the staff header was transposed.

Upgrade your outdated 3.0.5 to the current stable version 3.2.3 and that score is just fine, as that bug has been fixed.
