Eighth notes grouping
I´m trying to enter eighth notes in a blues piece such that only 2 eighths are connected so that four sequential notes would be shown as 2 joined eighths followed by another 2 joined eighth notes. Unfortunately MuseScore connects all four notes together which is not helpful when playing in the blues/swing rhythm.
Is there a simple solution to this problem?

Thanks Shoichi, the time signature method works great.

Thank you, that´s nice to know.
FWIW, though, the convention of beaming eighth notes in groups of four is pretty universal even in blues/swing/jazz. Most published music in these genres follows it, so it is what most musicians are accustomed so, and I wouldn't deviate from this standard without good reason.

Thanks Marc, I´ll keep that in mind.
