How do I beam my notes?
I've tried selecting them all and dragging the beam to the notes to no avail, I also tried searching for similar topics but it seems the search is broken?

MuseScore beams notes automatically, assuming you are adding notes that would normally beam. That is, if you add eighth notes or sixteenths notes. No amount of fidding with beams will add them to quarter notes or half notes, though.
