rehearsal letters and italian terms and lack of playback sound
I am trying to insert Italian term directive at the head of my score but so far, no success. Also, I seem to have lost the playback sound despite going to the appropriate panel. Can you help please?

Rehearsal marks are added from the Text palette or the shortcut Ctrl+M. Normally these are just terrs, so I'm not sure what difference it would make if you are thinking Italian versus any other language using the basic Lati alphabet. Maybe you really mean tempo markings? Those are added from the Tempo palette but are ordinary text, so you can edit them to read however you like.
