Page setup settings and layout keeps defaulting back
Maybe it's me, but for every file I work on, I need to change the page settings back to Legal and I need to keep loading a layout that I had saved.
Is there no Default layout setting?
Really annoying to keep changing/loading that.

You set a style file to load automatically in Edit > Preferences
To create a style file, set up a score as you like, then do to Format / Save Style. Then specify that as your default as suggested above.
However, I would suggest you think through whether you really want that for all new scores, or maybe just new scores of a specific type (eg, maybe you are using this for orchestra scores, but you wouldn't want it for solo piano music, or for the parts, etc). Instead of making it the global default, consider instead simply saving an appropriately-setup score to your Templates folder, and then selecting it from the templates list when creating new scores of that particular type.
Well, that's not working.
I had it setup like that, but whenever I load a Midi, and then look at the format,
it ends up as A4 and Mm. I need to load layout again, and then it's in Letter.
But the Mm stays,, it doesn't go to Inches.

Guess for the import there was a setting too.. so now it works.
Except it still goes back to mm for importing, and that's a bug
