OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.2.3.7635, revision: d2d863f
1) New score for two flutes and guitar
2) Enter a few notes in each first mesure
3) Add a fretboard diagram in guitar staff, first beat
(Test file at this step: fretboard chord symbol.mscz)
4) With Ctrl + K shortcut: try to enter a chord symbol in the first (or second ) flute, same first beat
Result: failure. The focus is lost (or jumps, rather). Input cursor erases the chord symbol located elsewhere in the score (and above the fretboard diagram)
-Note: when entering again the chord symbol to complete the fretboard diagram, that clears the second chord symbol (second beat, first staff: last action on animation)

Comments
Recommended workaround: enter the chord symbols first (in any staff you want), then the fretboard diagrams, in the intended staff.
I think I know why this is happening. I'll try to get a fix out when I can.
