Some imported scores look bigger in MS3
OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.3.0.7783, revision: 82fd5a2
- Download the score at https://musescore.com/user/10086716/scores/4509656 (Chopin, Op. 9.1).
- Open it in both 2.3.2 and MS 3.
Expected result: The score should be the same size in both cases. Note: In Page Settings the Staff space is set to 1.5 mm (smaller than the default).
Actual result: The score in MS 3.x looks slightly bigger. Using Screen Ruler to measure the staff height gives the following results:
In MS 2.3.2 = 56mm
In MS 3.x = 62mm
that's a change of 10%.
Now compare that with the attached score (Burgmuller), which is at the default spacing: 1.764 mm. It looks the same size in both MS 2.3.2 and MS 3.x. Measurement of the staff height with Screen Ruler confirms this (both 73mm).

I'm not sure I'd use screen measurements as proof of anything, too much depends on resolution, anti-aliasing. but 4 * 1.5 = 6, so I'd certainly expect the staff height to be 6mm, plus whatever portion of the staff line width you are counting. If it came out smaller than that in 2.3.2, sounds like a bug that is now fixed.
