Guitar tab troubles
Hi,
I'm expierencing quite a lot troubles while writing a guitar tab. First of all,I need the number "12" in the lowest string, but it only goes up to 4 then it jumps to the second string. This brings me to my second issue. I have read the handbook for using a keyboard (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature#keyboard) but that doesn't work with me. If I type the number "4" it's not for fret 4 but it jumps to an 8th note instead. So my tablature is slowing down a lot but it has to be finished this month. Could someone help me please?

Read your linked page carefully. In tablature there is a different action taken if you us the 4 on the alphanumeric keyboard or the numeric keyboard. Also note that there are letters you type for tab positions greater than 9. There are also shortcuts that allow you to change which string your selected tab is on. Once you read it again, ask more specific questions and someone can help.
