lead sheets for Concert, Bb and Eb instruments
Need a how too for MuseScore 3.x in MacOS 12.4
I have a concert lead sheet and need parts for Bb and Eb instruments. When I Select All and change instruments in Staff/Part Properties selecting Tenor Saxophone the music staff transposes but the chords remain unchanged. When I select the Alto Sax, nothing changes.

The how to to fix this would consist of one line. Use chord symbol for chords and they will automatically transpose. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/chord-symbols
Attach a sample score if this doesn't help.

Thx. I started with someone else's chart. I didn't think to delete the chord symbol text and re-enter them with Chord Symbol. I'll do that.
Any thoughts on why the Alto Sax Instrument change isn't working?

The melody agrees with my Stevie Wonder Songbook when transposed to Bb. I’ve modified the chords with the changes from iReal Pro. The objective is a chart set for a small Jazz combo.

When I right click the staff and change the instrument to Alto Sax I get exactly what I expect. Chords and notes all transpose perfectly.
Ab on piano = F on Alto Sax for the first chord and Eb below the staff = C below the staff for the sax.
I didn't check every note, but I'm confident from what I did check that the transposition is correct.

Thanks for walking through that with me. I'll go back to square one with the downloaded chart and use Chord Symbols when I update the changes.
