Fast forward button
Just like there is a "rewind to start position" button, I think there should be an "Advance to end" button. In a long score, displayed in continuous view (which I use frequently), reaching the end of the score by successive drags is a bit cumbersome.
I know there is a navigator feature that helps to get it done, but a simple button taking us directly to the end would be welcome. And not that hard to implement.

The End key ?
The button on the toolbar is designed for playback purposes rather than navigation. A playback button that takes you to the end would be illogical because pressing play would make the score jump to the start for playback.
As shoichi pointed out, there are preset keyboard shortcuts that will navigate to the end of the score. There is no toolbar for these shortcuts.

Yes, sure, the End key does the job. I haven't noticed that. Thanks for reminding me. Now, who in heaven, would hit Play when at the end of the score?

It's a quick way to start play back at the beginning of the score. I've done it, mostly by accident.

rewind only move to the start of the score, you still have to press play to actually get playback. If playback reaches the end of the score and you press play, it will start at the beginning. As I said, I usually get it to start at the beginning by accident because I press space by accident. BTW, I'm not complaining, on a short score this may be very desirable.

No, during playback the rewind button (and the Home/Pos1 key) jumps to start of score and plays from there

I was thinking after playback has stopped rather than during playback.
