How to disable Musescore going into focus when I press a note on my MIDI keyboard?

I have a transcribe program open with Musescore in the background as I notate, but every time I press on my MIDI keyboard, it brings Musescore into focus. I just updated Musescore today and this problem began, last time I updated was earlier this year so it seems to be a "feature" they've added since then.
