How To Make A French Horn Quartet Score
I want to have a score with Horn 1, Horn 2, Horn 3 and Horn 4.. and then once I write out the score be able to print individual parts.
How do I do that?
Thanks

Hi Guy
I just updated to Musescore 3, so I am moving thru these steps in a different light.
Click on "new score", then Choose instruments....click next. You see the instruments to choose from just choose horn.... "add"... 4 times. Now your score will be 4 parts for you to write on. ( I am transposing horn parts right now, is this something you are doing...cuz Musescore will help with that...I can go into detail if you need help.)
To PRINT the parts when you are finished, Go to the File menu in the upper left and look for 'Parts'. When the box appears, click 'Generate', then OK. Your parts will appear at the top of your score. Now you can access each on and manipulate each part individually. Don't forget to save. If you change something on an individual part, it should also change on the score. I sometimes save the individual parts in another folder and away from the score. An example of this would be if some of your parts have a first and a second ending and you have another part that just needs a repeat (w/o endings)...you can fix that by saving that part away from it's score.
I hope this is what you were looking for.
