I think it's good to write some initials at the beginning of file names; so we can understand that this is part of a suite.
in Folder:
in Plugin Manager:
I don't know what to suggest (or the right thing) about Plugin-Path.
Perhaps the last part of the plug-in name here can be expected to have the same initials.
(I chose "BSG" as an example of naming. But you can choose something else.)
Reasons:
- Keeping them together.
- Possible to avoid confusion with other plugins.
Comments
Thoes plugin could be all in the same sub-'folder', same way as "Note Names", "Color Notes", "Color Voices" are under Plugins > Notes
Like these here under Plugins > Articulation and Ornamentation Control
(Not sure spaces in that path works, and that name seems pretty long)

I didn't see this until now. In fact, putting names in subfolders causes selection misbehaviors. I posted a bug report, long ago, but no one responded to it. It would be neat if it worked properly.
It does work, for Color Notes, Color Voices, Note Names
When I say "doesn't work", my critique is more subtle. There are subtle changes in behavior and the way focus is managed. Ah, I remember -- if you have an accelerator assigned to a plugin not at top-menu-level, at least on Mac in 5.9, the accelerator will not work after a switch to another app and back unless you pre-click the score. I'll see if I can find the bug report.
I have to build a new test case and see if this is still true and submit a better bug report if so.
It is also a bug in the site that I, as owner of the containing page, was not notified about posts to this issue tracker. I found it out of curiosity today.
