Glissandi shouldn't last for the entire length of the note
Currently, glissando immediately begins to slide the note up after it plays, but nobody actually does that. The actual gliss itself should start after at least half the note duration has passed.
Better yet, there could be a customisable option (that you can set as the default with [S]) to change at what fraction of the note the glissando starts.
And for a final, perhaps unrealistic suggestion, you should also be able to change the speed of the gliss much like the current single-note dynamics - ease in, ease out, ease in and out, exponential.

Hello, I'm nobody and depending on which style of music, this is exactly what is required/intended.
While more playback options would be nice, note that you can change timing of a gliss (though a lot of work) through the Piano Roll Editor.
