MuseScore installer use zip instead?
Hello,
At this page:
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/releases/tag/v3.3beta2
I'm wondering what this means:
"
Important note!
Revision number (in mscore/revision.h) is incorrect in the assets automatically generated by GitHub. Use MuseScore-3.3.0-Beta2.zip instead.
"
Does it suggest I use the zip?
I rather like to just download the
MuseScore-3.3.0-Beta2-x86_64.msi
installer on that page and run the .msi to install MuseScore.
I'm running Windows 10, 64bit
Thanks for any ideas.

The msi-file is the same when you use https://musescore.org/en/3.3beta2

Yes, thanks,
though I was wondering if the page I referred to was suggesting I use the zip instead of the msi to install.
The zip is just for the source code

Ah, I see, that's what I was wondering about.
So I'll just keep using the msi installers as I usually do.
Thank you.
