Are you sure you looked in the right place? Autosave saves in a special place and with special names, see https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
I m not sure that you read correctly. I m nt lookig for a file. I know that doesnt work because little star (*) stays on the title of the document and if it crashes it opens empty.
In reply to I m not sure that you read… by Omnimusico
It's correct that the * stays. As mentioned, autosave doesn't save the main score file itself, it makes its own copy. It never touches your file, so the star remains until you save it. And indeed, if the program closes and you haven't saved it, your file will not have your recent changes. but the autosave file will, you have to say "yes" when MsueScore asks if you want to restore your last session. This will cause MuseScore to open the autosave file.
2 minutes more passed by and the little star still there (See atch)
And your score hasnt saved, because you did not. But autosave did do its job, check dor autosave files, reading the link i provided.

I just tried what you say, and if there are unsaved changes the program ask to save it. If i save it so it isnt a auto-save. Im thinking that musescore auto-save is different that other softwares, can you explain how it works?
Thanks
We just did explain that.
If you have more questions, please use the forum.
I readed it I understand, thank you. Its just very different that other software, why should I need 2 separate files whith more or less the same data. All a average user wants is one file in one place that i choose.
Just use File > Save
Autosave files are just a safety net to be able to recover from crashes
It s not auto-save
It is. And similar to how other other software does it. I don't know any that would overwrite your working file
Ok Excuseme I dont have any problem with the program. It's perfect and it doesn't need any sugestions or modificatios.
