Seven short dashes are present between systems in the last two thirds of the score

Hi at some point while entering lyrics, I think, I developed seven short dashes between systems of the score in the last two thirds of the score. The seven dashes are in a perfect vertical column if you look from system to system (staff to staff) and appear to be about the same distance below the lyric line as the distance the lyric line is below the staff. They are the same distance below the staff they are associated with but vary distances above the staff below them depending on formatting details associated with the staff below them. I suspect it is a formatting item I turned on without knowing I had done so for the last 2 thirds of the score. I would like to remove the dashes. I do not seem to be able select or hilight them.

Can you please tell me how to remove them?
