Erasing extra notes and rests
How do I delete notes or rests not needed? I set up my violin page with 174 measures in 3/4. As I add notes and rests, the rests DO NOT adjust accordingly as in other programs. What can I do to always have ONLY 3 beats per measure?

Don't use insert mode
Indeed, assuming you didn't switch to insert mode, everything shoudl be correct right out of the box - there will be no extra beats in any measure. If you have a score in which you did not use insert mode but have too many beats in some measure(s), please attach it and explain how you entered those notes, then we can determine if there is some sort of bug or if perhaps you did something incorrectly, and then either way, tell you how to fix it.
