When exporting score as audio, unselecting the "Play Repeats" in the playback controls will create an export with no repeats. However, with midi, unselecting "Play Repeats", repeats are still exported. Exporting midi with or without repeats should follow the same "Play Repeats" behaviour as exporting to audio. Thanks.

Personally I wouldn't consider this a bug, I see the play repeats button as being just a temporary override for testing purposes. I could, however, see there being an option somewhere to control whether this affects export (not just MIDI but audio), and same for the metronome, solo bottun in Mixer, etc.
But if it works with MP3, WAV, etc. but not working with MIDI certainly is a big, isn't it?
A bug in the MP3/WAV export, then :-). I agree they should be consistent, but also, there should be an override.
The override is the "play repeats" button.
The difference might be that MIDI is not really a sound format, more of an interchange format like musicxml, but without the option to transport a repeat, so it either does not at all and leaves it to the person importing to add repeat barlines, or doubles that section and leaves it to the importing person to detect that and correct the score accordingly.
That won't happen to any of the real sound formats
