Shifting a complete voice one octave up
Is it possible to shift one octave up an existing voice (tenor) which is written in the lower staff, but having it placed in the upper staff? So changing the tenor into a soprano?
A method worked by selecting the lower staff, copy the notes, selecting an empty upper staff and paste the notes. Then with Ctrl+↑ the notes are on the wanted place.
Perhaps this method is a bit cumbersome, but it works or can it be managed in a more simple way?

you can change the "name" of the stave in "stave proprieties", and you can move the place of this stave in "instruments". But the way you speak doesn't seem so difficult......

Thanks. I just found that it can also be done with selecting the notes in the stave, then right klick in it and select "swap with clipboard".
