only a few gracenotes in musescore 3 compared to musescore 2
Hi,
I am just evaluating if musescore is something for me.
I am bagpipe beginner and found it interesting to see that musescore supports
bagpipe gracenotes.
In musescore 2 I saw a lot of grace notes, in musecore I see that there are only a few ones.
What happened to all that gracenotes or did I miss something?
Thanks
Anton

There is a whole palette of bagpipe embellishments, but it isn't shown by default in the current version because so few people use it. To show it, click the "Add palettes" button at the top of the palettes.

its a bit late but thanks a lot, I found it.
One other question:
Is there a way to get the grace notes played correctly in the playback?
Actually they use too much time so the melody sounds bad.
What I do is:
- I make a second musescore file where I strip off all gracenotes
- I let the playback running with a speed which is comfortable
- I try to play in parallel with my chanter to train the melody
I would prefer that musescore plays the bagpipe gracenotes correctly
(like the *.bww player bagpipe player).
Do you know if there is any way to do this?
Thanks
Anton
