multiple separate pieces within one file
sometimes I have wanted to group several small pieces together but be able to select them and play them back individually. For example a group of short tunes, or several related practice exercises.
I have attempted to research this problem but with no success.
Is this possible in Musescore?

No. There used to be an "album" feature for this, but it was removed in 3.0. There has been a lot of clamor for its return.
