MuseScore Update Error - Installation Directory Must Be On A Local Hard Drive
I downloaded the latest version of MuseScore from here "Help - Check For Update" then I tried to install it but I get this error "Installation Directory Must Be On A Local Hard Drive"
Then I downloaded the latest version of MuseScore from its website and tried to install it but I get the error again.
So how to fix it and update MuseScore?

There is no "Run as administrator" option.
Only
1) Install
2) Repair
3) Uninstall

Right click on the downloaded file does not offer the option?

No, It does not have that option.

It is a Windows option, so you should have it independently of the file

I'm still getting the error with every update!
Each time I need to save the file locally then do something like this for the update to install Surely Musescore install can be fixed to prevent this installation error:
msiexec /i "I:\downloads\musescore\MuseScore-4.2.1.240230937-x86_64.msi" WIXUI_DONTVALIDATEPATH="1"
