how to convert multi-instrument to piano - demo video?
I imagine it should be relatively easy to convert a piece scored for several instruments and [collapse / transcribe] them to fit all on one [staff-pair]. I realize that an arrangement for piano may not include all the notes, but it might, and in any case it's better than trying to read several different staves simultaneously.
A few years ago I tried to do this in Musescore, and found it very difficult / impossible. Is it easier now? Has anyone written how to do it? Is there a demo video?
Thanks

Not sure what you tried or what you found difficult about it, but if it's music that is actually reducible to something reasonable, Tools / Implode does the trick. Select the staves you want combined onto one, then run Tools / Implode. Do that separately for the staves you want combine for the top staff and those you want combined for the bottom. Then optionally (if you want multiple voices combines into chords) run it again on the combines staves themselves. Takes but a few seconds. You either get something reasonably is inherently possible to reduce in that way, or you get a completely unplayable mess, as for example with a typical orchestra score.
