Part Creation
When creating new parts, it would be nice to be able to select a group of instruments to add to the part rather than select them one-by-one.

Can you explain what you mean in more detail? How would you expect to tell MuseScore which instruments you mean other than selecting them individually?

Say I want to select all woodwinds in a score to create a part. Instead of selecting the flute, then adding the instrument to the part, then the clarinet, adding it to the part, and repeating the process until I have all the instruments I want, I would want to be able to mass-select the instruments I want and then click the "add to part" arrow.

Makes sense. Creating combined parts like that is not a common operation, but it could indeed be made a little simpler. Using the keyboard shortcuts (eg, Tab, Shift+Tab, and the cursor keys to navigate, Space to activate the button) can help.

Makes sense to me too, and I'm actually using this pretty often, so separate choir from piano and other instruments.

I've created large scores for marching band before that would be unwieldy printed on letter size paper, so I make a wind score and percussion score. Group selecting instruments would streamline that process.
