I'm not convinced that it's a delay caused by review or screening. It could simply be that the enormous database of scores only gets re-indexed on a timed basis (e.g. once per 30 or 60 minutes). Search software usually searches an index, not the full database.

Things are posted there so rapidly that if your score was posted hours ago, it's probably deep there. No one looks there to find interesting things to play, btw; that's why groups exist, to focus the postings and visits of those with particular interests.

I suspect it’s more than that. I posted “War and Peace: Andrei’s aria” several days ago, and a search for that exact text using the magnifying glass icon results in nothing found. But it shows when I look under “my scores”.
If it’s applicable, the score is not checked as public domain although I placed no restrictions on download or viewing etc. The score is PD in Canada but not the US and most European countries.
