Can't run Musescore

I have been trying to run Musescore after not using it for about a year and when opening it tried to do an update but failed with an error when saying it was installing "Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver" and comes up with error:- "ThrowReg0penKeyEx(consolidateKey)incopyEstimatedSize". I then tried to cancel the update but systems gets stuck. After several attempts I gave up and deleted my Musescore program and then downloaded the latest version from your site. But same problem occurs.
