Won't play at the same time
I'm trying to write a song for my concert band, but for some reason instruments refuse to play at the same time. I've made different sections for all of them. I put in the piccolo track and I am trying to put in other instrumental harmonies but every time I try, the notes move away from each other.

Are you putting each instrument on it's own staff?
What do you mean about different "sections" for the instruments? You should have different staves for them, but all on the same system within the same score. This happens automatically if you use the Concert band template when creating your score. Sounds like you might have done something different, but we can't tell what. Please attach your score (the MSCZ) so we can understand and assist better.
