changing bar numbers
I have added a repeat sign in the "middle" of a bar by changing a single common time bar into two 2/4 bars and hiding the time signature. It works a treat and plays back the way I want. The down side is that all the subsequent bars are numbered wrongly. How can I change the subsequent bar numbering?

Simple when you know how. Thank you.
For future reference, if you use
measure operations → split measure before selected note
to create those half measures, rather than changing to 2/4; you won't be left with space for the time signature. In reply to For future reference, if you… by jeetee
Thank you. I will try that next time. Hiding the time signature did not leave a space, incidently. It looked as if it was partially over-writing it but printed with it spaced appropriately.
@louise, not to be rude or anything, but I just wondered whether you might want to reconsider your choice of email address? It is easy to mistake the word "therapist" for "the" and "r**ist" when there is no punctuation involved. Maybe this was intentional? Anyway, I just thought I would point it out, hopefully before you use the email address for business purposes...

Thank you for your suggestion. It has been my business address now for over 20 years.
