I sing in a church choir. Some anthems are sung to the tune of other, common anthems, such as Joyful, Joyful. To adjust that score, I would have to delete the original lyrics word by word as I insert the new ones, which is not difficult. However, some times the hymn being entered has less verses than the original tune. In that case, I would have to delete the unnecessary verses word by word.
Right-click one lyrics, then use Select / All Similar Elements, or one of the other options in that menu.
