Different phrasing during a repeat
I'm guessing that it's not possible in Musescore, but I'm wondering: say you have a verse that's repeated a number of times, and it's 99% the same every time, except for one measure where the phrasing is a little different. Is it possible to cleanly get it to look like the attached screenshot?

Using voices, the "small" setting for chords and parentheses via staff text
You can use voices to get the stems pointing in opposite directions. See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices
To make the notes small, select them and check 'Small' in the Chord section of the Inspector.
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/inspector#chord
look for 'Small'.
Parentheses can be added as text, then positioned onto the staff.
