how do i group beams in two's rather than fours?
I've been looking for this elsewhere, but can't find an answer, so I'll ask here. I'm writing some music and the software groups eighth notes in groups of four, not in two. I found some instructions on another part of the musescore site, but it won't work. Either I'm misunderstanding the instructions or the instructions aren't clear enough.
Can anyone help me with this?

You can change the default beaming in the time-signature properties.

Okay -- got that one figure out -- but now I have a different problem. I want the 32nd notes to be in groups of eight, but when try to do that I can only do it for the first group of eight 32nd notes. When I try to group the 32nd notes for the other three beats, it separates those into two groups of four 32nd notes each. Try as I might when I click on what I think is the right note to group them, it doesn't work.
Maybe I don't understand what the "beam properties" do in the lower right corner of the dialog box. Can you explain it to me?

Never mind -- think I got it figured. My apologies for any confusion.
