Default beaming over rests doesn't work
Eight notes are separated from the rests by deafult. Beaming tool does the job but I don't want to click it 300 times in every single measure. I tried this solution: https://musescore.org/en/node/286898#comment-907685
and it doesn't work at all.
I'm using version 3.4.2.9788 on Windows 7.
I attached the sample file. I want the first measure to look like the second one without using the beaming tool (beam middle).
Any help would be appreciated.

That would be next to impossible.
After all, from the linked solution the given start position statement is "all rest have already been changed to beam middle", which in turn asks for the beam tool to be used.
In your situation (with an often repeating pattern) I'd go with replicating that pattern once I've entered it once. Either using the
R
shortcut if it is consecutive or otherwise copy and paste. Then use repitch mode to overwrite the pitches. In reply to That would be next to… by jeetee
Thanks, your solution works. It's a shame I can't specify it somewhere globally.
