Changing size of D.C al Fine in Musescore 3
Hi,
I've noticed in Musescore 3 some things have changed about text formatting. In particular, where I think I used to be able to change some font sizes via inspector, they're now immediately overwritten (by what's in the Style > Text settings?). So I don't know how to make changes to the D.C. al Fine fonts I'm using (currently 12 point; which at my score's page setup scaling, is too big). I couldn't find anything but Marker in the Style > Text area, and that didn't change the size of these elements. Advice appreciated.
Thanks.

Try Inspector again, but don't try multiple changes at a time

I do, and the minute I leave the inspector, it disappears. It doesn't seem there's any "save" in the inspector. There's a thing that says "follow staff size" which I've tried checking and unchecking. I'm a version or so behind (the updates come so often I have trouble keeping up). Running v 3.3.4.24412. Attaching screen shot of what I see when modifying via inspector (bottom screen shot), plus what happens when I click back to the main score area (top screen shot)

Update to 3.4.2 first. Then don't double click that text, just one, then the Inspector

By double click you can change the font size in the text toolbar which appears below. But if I'm not wrong it doesn't seem to change the font size inside the inspector (there only outside the edit mode - could be confusing).

After downloading the latest version, the "overwriting" seems to have disappeared, so I guess that was something that was fixed. It seems I can change it in font strip at the bottom of the score (which doesn't change what's in the inspector; this is confusing), or I can change it in the inspector. Seem's it'd be better if one changed the other, unless I'm missing something. Thanks all.

These two options are for different purposes, inspector changes the entire string and can usesd to set it as the style to be used for other similar elements in the score, the text toolbar works only on the selected part of the string
My guess is you were seeing a bug where the Inspector changes would not "stick" if you were currently editing the text. The solution is to only use the Inspector when not editing text (that is, single click, don't double-click it). The bug should be fixed for the next version.
