Vocal Percussion addition
Most of the time I've been using the drum set for any vocal percussion (beatboxing) parts I transcribe, but there are some sounds that beatboxers can make that a drum set (or any percussion instrument, for that matter) can replicate that I need to use. Can you guys start working on a separate instrument just for vocal percussion? I'd really appreciate it!

Why aren't there any replies to this post? I was hoping to at least hear from SOMEONE.
I'm wanting to transcribe Rockapella's version of You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch; but some of the beatboxing sounds in that song don't quite come close to any drum sounds I've heard or am familiar with.
(stupid website wouldn't recognize bold or italics, so I had to use caps. I'm not yelling.)

MuseScore uses standard General MIDI soundfonts, and that means sticking to a particular set of sounds. You are always welcome to download and install other soundfonts that include and other non-standard sounds you want.

Where would I find those? I've never done something like that before.
Also, would the soundfonts be compatible with the audio output this website has?

See the Handbook to learn about adding soundfonts. As for websites, this one doesn't have any such features that I know of. musescore.com does, and if you use non-standard soundfonts, just check the "Upload score audio" button when using "Save online" from within MuseScore.

Excellent to know.
