Resizing the number of measures on a row of measures
I am helping my daughter with Musescore, and have quickly figure out that I don't think enough like a musician to understand the "right way" to fix things. --- Her piano teacher pointed out that her written composition had an additional five measures that were not in the electronic file, so I added five measures. She added the notes, but now the measures that followed are displaying weirdly. I attached a .pdf to make more sense. Any suggestions?

Make sure there are no Spacers (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers )
Better attach the .mscz file.
Almost certainly you have a system break (looks like the line break icon you might see in a word processor) at the end of that second system. Just click it and delete it. Feel free to add breaks elsewhere to space things to your liking.
