Install on catalina 10.15.3 -“MuseScore 3” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

I tried to install on my new mac and this is what is says when I try to run the software:

“MuseScore 3” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Please help.
