The user should be able to start a slur at its last beat/time slot showing on a system and extend it to the next system while using the move-node functions (shift+right). As it is, the slur will not extend to the next node but will serve only as a graphical extension while using shift+right. Can't see how this is desirable behavior.
Regularly, it works. That is, if you start slurring on beat 2 or 3 or something of a 4 beat system, it will carry over to the next system. If you start rather at the last beat of a measure showing, it no longer works.
