Hello! I was wondering if this feature has been added during the year?
Is there any chance it might be or if there is a workaround?
Thanks!
Have you exemples of such use ?
I never saw in early music....
In case the two concerned sounds should be thought as a diphtongue, and as such written as one bit of lyrics, and not two, shouldn't they ?
Workaround would be to add multiple syllables to the main note and position them manually.
Or, perhaps more simply, just add them as ordinary staff text. You can then use the Inspector to assign them the lyrics style.
Thank you! that's perfect. :)
I was using lyrics to place percussion symbols above each note and wanted to have a grace note with a certain font.
:)
Strange enough in MuseScore 1.x lyrics on grace notes where possible, in 2.x it is no longer
Let's see whether we can get them working in 3.x again, maybe together with #275688: Be able to add lyrics on a rest (silent note), using the same method of entering them
Came up again in https://musescore.org/en/node/332679 and long ago in https://musescore.org/en/node/183341
Workaround mentioned above. Was possible in MuseScore 1
The suggested workaround does not work for me, when there are multiple grace notes, and when the syllables require a hyphen between them. See attached file. Binding lyrics to the grace notes themselves should be possible in MuseScore and I very much support this feature request.
