For no apparent reason, rests appear outside of the staff lines. The rests are moveable but critically not deletable. The only way to get rid of them appears to be to open a new score and completely re-write the piece.
I can't reproduce this error at will as it seems to be a random event. However, this has happened several times now.

That particular rest has an X offset of -39.73sp and a Y offset of -33.41sp. If you reset its offset to (0,0), the rest and the chord symbol will both return to their proper places.
